We are The National Farmers Alliance Co-operative or Koperasi Aliansi Tani Nasional (KOPATNAS) operating nation-wide for nearly a decade. KOPATNAS was established on March 22nd,2001 legalized by the State Minister for Co-operative and SME of Republic of Indonesia Decree No. 084/BH/Meneg.1/III/2001.
In this respect,we have initiated C2C (Coop-to-Coop) online as our an original idea who is intended not just as a means of a payment system only,however,C2C designed to enable Cooperative and SME merchants to establish an Internet presence for their business,including website design and processing of batch and individual card payments.
On 18 December 2009,the United Nations proclaimed that 2012 as the International Year of Co-operatives. By doing so,the UN;recognised that the co-operative business model is a major factor in realising economic and social development. It also now calls on governments,international institutions,co-operatives and other stakeholders to support the development and growth of co-operatives worldwide.
It is very important moment for ICA ( International Co-operative Alliance) who founded in 1895,and as an independent,non-governmental association which unites,represents and serves co-operatives worldwide.
The challenge of ICA is how to serve them by interconnecting online to 249 member organizations from 92 countries active in all sectors of the economy and represent nearly one billion individuals worldwide. I believe that the C2C online will answer the prime requirement by the International cooperative movement which is a part of global society in the borderless world. As it is, they like it or not,they have been in the midst of the digital era and the dynamics of economic globalization is very high,so they need information to be able to act quickly to seize opportunities fairly in the global competition against monopolist and cartels.
In overcome the above respect,we will cooperate with a suite of best products known as MasterCard Strategic Processing Solutions (MasterCard SPS) and Transact 24 Pte Limited. who has responded to the need for a simple to implement,easy to use web-based payment solution for the small and medium enterprise (SME) segment with the C2C Online solution.
Relative to the above,we initiated a concept of integrated on-line services to the C2C Online provides acquirers with a wholesale,hosted card payments solution for their merchants of our members who it may be able to be served by a package of programs “Special Processing Solutions”from MasterCard. Which include are as follows:Features include:Online web shop tool;Batch processing;recurring payment and bill payment modules;Stored card module;Custom branding;Administration portal.
Moreover,with C2C Online,our Co-operative and the SMEs merchants can build their own web shop,including a shopping cart and online product catalogue,and provide a custom branded e‑commerce solution to manage and authorize online payment transactions in over 145 currencies. And given the ICA members not only to meet their domestic market,however even mostly to export. So C2C will serve the import-export payments,can be used by international SMEs in the cooperative movement who become our partners in various countries,in the context of C2C internationally.
As a Cooperative movement,we feel this is our challenge in togetherness today and the future to participate promote economic justice for all SMEs in the cooperative of any countries. Because,SMEs are the front guard which serves the needs of the consumer society,should be able to build the strength of his own community as their social capital to liberate itself from all forms of pressure from the cartels and monopolies. With the hope of SMEs will able to provide a better service to the community of consumers wherever they are. Among others are:;1) Facilitate communication and information and other transactions of the cooperative movement is incorporated in the ICA;2). Providing an alternative cheaper price compared with current prices,that most controlled by the cartels and monopolists that is “cornering the buyer”(cornering the market) and the have inflationary impact.
We believe that the system we are going to develop can assist the supervision and utilization of various supporting programs from the Government to the small business community more efficiently,reliably,measurably and controllably in empowering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). We also expect that this program may obviously widen the social basis of productive economic activity as well as other real economic sectors in general.
We humbly will commit to this important work that we will begin together. We will grateful and honored if we have deserved to stand with ICA to serve billions of SMEs in the world who have linked with ICA (international co-operative alliance).
